Loaded Longboards

Loaded Longboards were spawned by a group obsessed with recreating surfing and snowboarding on land.

During the mid-nineties, all kinds of wheels and trucks were obtained and retrofitted to old snowboards and wood, testing viable materials and production methods.

The first Loaded Longboard ‘The Vanguard’ was released in 2002 and is still available to this day along with over a dozen other Longboards, all of which are built using environmentally conscious materials and methods of production.

What’s Your Riding Riding Style?

Loaded Longboards are built to cater for and cross over the various styles of riding. Pick a deck that best suits your riding styles.

Carving

Longboards for riding slopes of all gradients in an ‘S’ like rhythm keeping the speed and control in check.

Commuting

Longboards suited for cruising urban areas over medium to long distances are usually slower than the other styles.

Dancing

A larger deck allows the skater to perform fluid and creative movements and footwork while cruising and carving.

Downhill

Stiffer lower to the ground stable Longboards for maintaining control at the highest possible speeds when riding Downhill.

Freeride

Longboards that are built for ‘sliding’ and performing other stylish tricks while riding downhill at low to medium speeds.

Freestyle

Freestylers combine cruising, carving and sliding with flipping, spinning and jumping tricks and stunts on both flatland and slopes.

Pumping

Pumping Longboards have the right amount of flex so the rider can accelerate while keeping their feet on the board using the ‘pumping’ technique.

Loaded Longboard Trucks

Loaded complete longboards come fitted with the best all-around trucks for the deck as standard. However, more advanced riders may prefer other trucks on a particular deck that better suit their riding styles and ability.

Paris Trucks

Paris Trucks utilize a unique alloy forming process and T6 heat treatment to form trucks stronger than any other on the market. Baseplates are supported beam reinforced and include 96a urethane pivot cups for smooth turning and centre returning.

Bear Trucks

Bear Trucks are high quality solid and durable trucks with refined steering geometry.
